The red wine Lodovico Toscana IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta di Biserno has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby with fine purple shimmer. Compact, fleshy nose with notes of cardamom and cinnamon and lots of blackberry and cassis. Very polished on the palate with plenty of fine-meshed tannin, blackberry and tobacco. On the finish there are green-spicy notes which dampen the drinking flow a little.
