The red wine Biserno Toscana IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Tenuta di Biserno has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot
Elegant, bright ruby red colour with a subtly brightening core. Elegant hints of earth, wet stone and oak on the nose, reminiscent of chocolate powder, black elderberries and some mint after a little airing. Pithy on the palate, with tight-knit, grippy tannins, lots of juiciness, shows good tension, on graphite, shows vertical progression, powerful finish.
