The red wine Biserno Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2020 from the winery Tenuta di Biserno has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby red colour. Very fragrant and expressive nose of cassis, blackberries, fine mint, plus a touch of precious wood and milk chocolate, a lot of rich black currants on the finish. Full-bodied palate, with an enormous amount of sweet texture, polished, embedded in tightly woven tannins, liquorice tone, juicy finish, very long, elegant, powerful.
