The red wine Biserno Toscana IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Tenuta di Biserno has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby in colour. A very appealing and intense nose opens with notes of tobacco and cassis, with nuts and leather in the background - very exciting. Full-bodied and profound on the palate, there's lots of dark berry fruit and unfolds with dense tannins. It's full-bodied and voluminous, showing plenty of rich drive on the finish and sweet texture.
