Tasting Notes
Strong, dense red. Less expressive on the nose, cassis, subtly spicy. Lively initially on the palate, with a juicy, invigorating acidity, pithy, ripe tannins; juicy length. Showing its seductive, drink-friendly side at the moment.
More about the tastingRich, dense ruby purple. Opens on the nose with lots of ripe, dark berry fruit of cassis, dark plums and elderberries, underpinned by notes of tar. A real treat on the palate, full-bodied and powerful, lots of fruit and texture, dense tannins interwoven with sweet texture, also fine herbal spice on the finish gives depth and complexity, salty and long.
