The red wine Tenuta di Trinoro IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Tenuta di Trinoro has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby purple. Dense and fragrant nose, opens with notes of dark chocolate, then lots of cassis and elderberries, dried tomatoes, calm and precise. Fills the palate richly from front to back, lots of dark berryish fruit, tightly woven, very precise tannins that open up in many layers. Spicy and deep, for all its concentration also has a nice drinking flow.
