Vibrant, intense ruby. Opens on the nose with notes of green olive paste, then lots of fresh crisp cherry, some cardamom, an exciting bouquet. Polished and juicy on the palate, opens with grippy firm tannins, shows many layers, still a bit rough on the back end, it still needs cellaring but has very good ageing potential.
