The red wine Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Tenuta Santa Maria has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Rich and intense ruby red. Compact nose of cherry compote and raspberries, shows ripe forest berries and some leather on the finish. On the palate multilayered and full, spreads out as an elegant drink, very well balanced, fine savoury tones with small berries, appealing and fine up to the finish.
