Tasting Notes
Intense, bright amber in colour. On the nose are aromas redolent of toasted walnut, dried fig, dried apricot, chestnut honey and a touch of light spice. The palate is sweet with racy acidity, and hints of soft honey and nougat with caramel notes on the finish although the tannins are a little rough.
