The red wine Bocca di Lupo Castel del Monte DOC, vintage 2013 from the winery Tormaresca has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Puglia in Italy.
Deep dark ruby red, almost goes to black. Spicy, complex nose of coconut, dark chocolate, ripe cassis and cigar box. Grippy tannin, interesting, also on the palate again notes of coconut, blackberries and cocoa, lingers long in the mouth, still needs time. .
