The red wine Syrah Per Sempre IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Tua Rita has been rated in 2015 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark ruby garnet with purple reflections and a delicately brightening rim. A complex nose of tobacco, rosehip and a slight animal savouriness, overlaid over a dark minerality. Powerful on the palate, with concentrated fruit and taut tannins. There's a pleasant saltiness a nougat note alongside ripe cherries on the finish. A hefty food companion for drinking further down the line.
