The red wine 6.38 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Valiano has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red with a slight purple tinge. Spicy blackcurrant and cassis on the nose, supported by light peppery notes and some smoke. Opens up on the palate on sweet fruit with elegant texture and firm tannins, good length, harmonious finish.
