The red wine Poggio Teo Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Valiano has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Chianti in Italy.
Bright ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Presents itself on the nose with appealing cherry and raspberry fruit. Unfortunately the palate is dominated by very rough and coarse tannins, dries significantly, fruit lacks vibrancy.
