Tasting Notes
Still bright in colour with greenish reflections. A fully developed, ideal-typical Saarnase: citrus, rosemary, lemon lemon balm, savoury slate and yeasty overtones. On the palate typical of the vintage, yet with a fresh and mineral slender impression, sweetness and acidity are fused into an amalgam, candied pineapple on the palate, finally downright reductive. A "simple" wine that benefits from the carafe!.
More about the tastingOrange blossom, slate, a hint of balsamic spice. Full-bodied attack, materiality dominates body and acidity, a full load of extract, but also noticeable fruit and spice potential that will unfold over the course of maturation in the bottle.
