The red wine Imeneo DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Villanoviana has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, ripe ruby red. Pronounced spice character of pine needles on the nose, with eucalyptus, cassis, and bell pepper. On the palate it is compact with a sweet texture, unfolding beautifully, and it has a firm body throughout. There are lovely spicy notes on the finish.
