Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. Finely drawn nose of sweet fruit, ripe red currant, orange peel, plus some strawberry candy, then fine use of wood in the second part, inviting. The palate is grippy, lively with clearly pronounced fruit and subtle spice, very grippy, earthy tannins, well wrapped, powerful into the long finish.
