The red wine Seña, vintage 2008 from the winery Viña Seña has been rated in 2013 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Aconcagua Valley in Chile.
Dark ruby-garnet colour, purple reflections, delicate rim brightening. Intense redcurrant and lychee on the nose, delicate background with liquorice, somewhat artificial, intense fruit. Juicy, elegant texture, cassis and grapefruit, then very powerful, lots of nougat, firm tannins, chocolatey, broad finish, quite in contrast to the bouquet, fine roasted flavours in the aftertaste, carried by good freshness, very good future ageing potential.
