Tasting Notes
Dark ruby-garnet colour, purple reflections, delicate rim brightening. Intense redcurrant and lychee on the nose, delicate background with liquorice, somewhat artificial, intense fruit. Juicy, elegant texture, cassis and grapefruit, then very powerful, lots of nougat, firm tannins, chocolatey, broad finish, quite in contrast to the bouquet, fine roasted flavours in the aftertaste, carried by good freshness, very good future ageing potential. (91 - 8th rank).
