Tasting Notes
Strong ruby colour with purple reflections, subtly brighter at the ochre rim. Nuances of violet and liquorice, black fruits of the forest, dark chocolate and herbs. Delicate hints of oak and a hint of damp gravel. Powerful, juicy, ripe-cherry palate with vivid, somewhat demanding tannins and subtle fruit expression on the finish. Mineral notes, red-berry confit, but with a somewhat rough finish. It does not yet appear fully mature. Slightly brittle in the aftertaste and a sweetish finish.
