The red wine Amancio Rioja DOCa, vintage 2001 from the winery Vinedos Sierra Cantabria has been rated in 2011 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Intense ruby colour. Very deep, dense, fleshy and spicy bouquet. Enormously dense, again fleshy palate, extremely rich and silky, powerful and full-bodied, a long-lasting power wine with an appropriate amount of tannin.
