The red wine Monile IGT, vintage 2009 from the winery Viticcio has been rated in 2013 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, intense ruby with violet. Rich, dense nose, shows notes of tar and licorice, then also lots of ripe cassis tones, inviting. Juicy on the palate, opens up with dense tannins, builds up well, still a little rough and brittle on the finish, wood needs to be better integrated, but has good potential.
