The white wine »Alte Reben« Iphofen Kalb Müller-Thurgau Spätlese trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weinbau Hofmann has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Müller-Thurgau from the region Franconia in Germany.
Subtle aroma, fine savouriness and delicate fruit of apple, lychee, lemon zest, mace and orange blossom. On the palate it has a soft structure, a lot of texture, tight-knit with ripe acidity, full-bodied and dense, an excellent accompaniment to spicy dishes from oriental, Indian or Asian cuisine.
