The orange wine Materia Prima, vintage 2022 from the winery Weinberghof Fritsch has been rated in 2026 by Romana Echensperger, Valentine Mühlberger with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Traminer, Grüner Veltliner from the region Lower Austria in Austria.
Clearly cloudy, copper-colored with amber reflections. Restrained aroma with very fine aromas of green apple and delicate Traminer spice. On the palate, the texture is particularly impressive: silky and finely woven, clings to the palate like a silk scarf. Fresh acidity provides a lively kick. Long finish, with only 11.5% alcohol.
