The sweet and dessert wine »Vintage Collection« Bernkastel Doctor Riesling Auslese, vintage 2003 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Mosel has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Rich gold with delicate greenish reflections. Terpene savoury aroma, fresh despite maturity, pine needles, lime peel, tropical fruit, a little spicy, a touch of forest honey. Fine, elegant texture, fruit and acidity are balanced, honey, elderberry jelly, herbal savouriness, spicy, excellently matured, good length.
