The white wine Bernkastel Doctor Riesling Spätlese, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Mosel has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Balsamic slate, candied orange peel, plum, apple. The palate is enormously dense and full of tension, textured with mineral extract and fine acidity. The wine lingers on the palate for a very long time and is flawlessly homogeneous.
