The sparkling wine Geheimrat »J« Riesling Sekt Brut, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Rheingau has been rated in 2019 by Gerhild Burkard, Benjamin Herzog with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rheingau in Germany.
A hint of chamomile tincture immediately rises to the nose, signalling a grown up Riesling with its ethereal radiance. The slender palate foams joyfully and briskly, accompanying flavours of both fresh and dried citrus zest that continue to concentrate toward the dry finish. The finish is long, dry, fruity and grandiose.
