The white wine Winkel Jesuitengarten, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Rheingau has been rated in 2014 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Some woody influence, yet slightly reductive in the nose. Clears up more and more with air contact: sweet almond, herbal notes, thyme, liquorice, dried lemon peel, a rather tidy aroma. Comparatively sweet attack, then full-bodied in the centre of the palate at the optimum of the vintage, supple with ripe acidity well countered by extract, a fundamentally serious wine.
