The white wine Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling GG, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Rheingau has been rated in 2017 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Initially cool and unapproachable, it picks up minutely with air contact, and develops yellow fruit as well as piquant spiciness, but remains true to its stony-cool nature. So that this coolness does not take hold of the palate entirely, a sweet fruit texture rises to balance it in good time.
