The white wine Forst Jesuitengarten Riesling GG, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Acham-Magin has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Densely packed with yellow fruit, this is very pure with shattered rock and savoury balsamic hints. Silky in texture, with firm but fine acidity and lots of juice, it delicately oscillates between mineral and phenolic complexity. It combines delicacy and length, is incredibly dense with mineral extract, and seems immensely restrained yet rich at the same time. Pepper, mineral and spice flavours emerge on the finish.
