The red wine »Granat«, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Albrecht Schwegler has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabertin from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Purple in colour. The rather powerful bouquet opens with blackberry, black cherry and also blackcurrant, some liquorice, fine smoke. Substantial on the palate with the fullness, density and power of the vintage, which is smoothly presented, dense, fine-grained tannins, long and with secure certain ageing potential.
