The red wine »Granat« trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Albrecht Schwegler has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabertin from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Purple red. Initially rather dark on the nose, followed by blackberry, sour cherry and plum. Full-bodied on the palate with dense but also fine tannins, generous aromas of liquorice, cherry, raspberry and dark chocolate, balanced by a very ripe acidity, long finish. A wine with certain ageing potential.
