The red wine »Saphir - Grande Cuvée« trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Albrecht Schwegler has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blauer Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabertin, Cabernet Franc, Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Dense, warm aroma, dark forest berries, heart cherries, oranges, cigar box, ivy, dark nougat chocolate, pepper. Lots of juiciness on the palate, mealy tannins, fresh acidity, well integrated in the full-bodied, soft base, fruit and savouriness are close together, with very good length.
