Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, purple reflections, brightening to the rim. Delicate licorice notes underlie dark blackberry fruit, some clementine zest, subtle toasty aromas and almond brittle. Good complexity, juicy tannins, tightly meshed, extracted sweetness of plum, mineral in the aftertaste, very long, good forward ageing potential.
