Tasting Notes
Dark ruby colour, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Delicately savoury black berry fruit, nuances of cranberry, tobacco with a hint of wood in the background, mandarin zest, delicate hints of nougat. Powerful, juicy, black cherry, blueberry, ripe, supporting tannins, pronounced in fruit finish, mineral, a little chocolaty, great length, certainly further ageing potential for many years.
