The red wine Comondor, vintage 2001 from the winery Weingut Anita und Hans Nittnaus has been rated in 2010 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, delicate rim brightening. Inviting ripe fruit on the nose, ripe cherries, plums, fine tobacco spice, fine chocolate notes, very multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, very well-balanced, good tannin, freshly structured, already harmonious, dark fruit on the finish, approaching a first drinking peak, but still has reserves. Considering the rather small vintage, a success, delicate Burgundian impression in style.
