The red wine Comondor, vintage 2004 from the winery Weingut Anita und Hans Nittnaus has been rated in 2010 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Blaufränkisch from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, delicate rim brightening. Ripe fruit on the nose, delicate hints of figs, a hint of dried fruit, some plums, fresh cherries, tobacco nuances. Powerful, fresh dark berry fruit, present but well-integrated tannins, red berry aftertaste, delicately astringent on the finish, seems a little green behind the ears, some bitter chocolate on the finish. Seems a little closed, should not be opened at the moment but left to rest. Has potential for more.
