The white wine »Kalkbrunnen« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Aufricht has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
Still quite restrained on the nose with aromas of tropical fruits, lemon peel, yeast and dried herbs with a chalky minerality. On the palate, the wine has a fine acidity structure and a dense body, balanced use of wood, fine phenolics and a long finish.
