The red wine »Cuvée Max« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut August Kesseler has been rated in 2017 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
It has aromas of black cherry, chocolate, a Mon Cheri character, as well as black fruit compote, pepper and juniper. On the palate there is pronounced fruit, with a juiciness and leafy tannins. It is mouth-coating, and has a fine acidity, and savoury balsamic flavours in a warming aftertaste.
