The red wine »Cuvée Max« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut August Kesseler has been rated in 2014 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Ripe blackberry, herbs, some wood, but all still very closed. On the palate, the tannins begin to mellow on a grainy base. Compact, almost sparse impression in the middle of the palate, slightly roughening. Mineral tones, with juiciness and fruit balancing the powerful extract on the finish.
