The red wine »Caviar de Pinot Noir« trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Balthasar Ress has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 - 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Classic in colour. Fragrant, savoury nose of clove and citrus zest, then also cherry, cranberry and plum. Juicy, cool, youthful on the palate, high drinking flow, also light liquorice notes. With a little time, the depth of fruit optimises and the long finish becomes significant.
