Tasting Notes
Spicy opening on the nose with smoke, fine oak savouriness, juniper berry, wet leaves, forest floor, dark cherry, sour cherry, blackberry and dried sage. Powerfully built on the palate with punchy extract and character, and a chalky minerality. The fine-grained, grippy tannins are firm to the core and contain reserves, some sour cherry, well-integrated acidity, deep and with a long finish. Very youthful with definite ageing potential.
