The red wine Dernau Goldkaul Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Bertram-Baltes has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Ahr in Germany.
Smoke and flint indicate youthful reduction. On the palate, these flinty notes also have an effect, but are in a sphere of absolute freshness, pure, crunchy fruit, invigorating, magical acidity and fine slate spice. Simply wonderful.
