The white wine Blanc Fumé, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Bietighöfer has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Strong in colour, intense nose of roasted aromas, ripe yellow fruit and some incense. Volume and power on the palate, but playfully packaged, combining intensity with style and elegance, with a fine mineral base, good balance of elements, still youthful and designed for a long life.
