The white wine »Grande Reserve« Chardonnay, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Bietighöfer has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
On the nose smoke and hot wet stone, noticeable use of wood, with air apple peel and almond paste, some rosemary. On the palate lively acidity, rich and dense, has a lot of juice and texture, fine phenolics, apple, brioche, still young, has good ageing ageing potential, nice length.
