The red wine »Gerold Cuvée Noir« trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut & Privatkellerei Bimmerle KG has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Intense fragrance of black cherry, Amarena cherry, cassis, cedar wood, juniper berry and oak spice. On the palate the wine exhibits a robust stature and good equilibrium, with nicely balanced acidity and ripe, grippy tannins. Spicy, with good persistence; a mature cuvée.
