The white wine Réserve Weißer Burgunder, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Bischel has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
There are aromas of oak and yeast on the nose, although it is still youthful and closed. It is powerful on the palate, round and voluminous, with a vivid acidity that gains in intensity, and yeasty flavours dominate on the finish. It still needs time, but will then probably reach a rather plump maturity.
