The white wine »Courage« Schliengen Chasselas trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Blankenhorn has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chasselas from the region Baden in Germany.
"Courage" stands for courage, and this Chasselas proves it. On the nose, notes of smoke, apple and a touch of pear, although the primary fruit does not play a major role. Emphatically dry on the palate with fine phenolics and supporting tannins, a mineral base and a subtle saltiness. An exciting style.
