The red wine Rüdesheimer Drachenstein Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Chat Sauvage has been rated in 2014 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Some new wood and black cherry, mallow, cassis. But also grass cuttings, celery and exotic floral notes. Very soft on the palate, supple, very subtle acidity, crumbly tannins in deep quantities, somewhat ragged despite the careful extraction. Absolutely needs further ageing.
