A fragrant Pinot: cherry stone and sweet cherry, restrained use of wood, some caramel, with a hint of thyme and wormwood in the background. The palate is still youthful, but already displays the elegance of a limestone terroir, ripe, fine-grained, grippy tannins, a clear mineral character and a nuanced finish. A subtle food wine, for example with game birds.
