The white wine »von Herzen«, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Dr. Kauer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Blanc, Souvignier gris from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
The still closed aroma is yeasty and slate-spicy, grape and slightly peppery on contact with air. Elegant on the palate, the cultivated acidity blends well into a medium-bodied structure with a distinctly slate-spicy finish. A hint of sweetness underlines the mild motifs behind the mineral structure. Excellently assembled!.
