The white wine »Schiefertanz« Bacharach Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Dr. Kauer has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
On the nose there's yeasty aromas from lees, alongside orange and lemon balm. On the palate the wine is taut and juicy, well packed up and lean but with good extract. A pinch of phenolics is there to provide grip, whilst the acidity has conciseness but is not coarse. Drinkability and elegance in one!
